Special Features
To help provide you with the best possible online poker experience, Full Tilt Poker has created many unique features for your enjoyment.
- Auto Center – You can place yourself at any seat you like at any table you are playing. By default, Full Tilt software will automatically place you in the bottom center seat. If you would like to select another seat at the table, just right-click on the pod where you want to sit and then click “Place Me Here.” To disable the software from automatically seating you in the bottom center seat, click on “Auto Center” in the Option pull-down menu in the main lobby.
- Turn off Avatars – Full Tilt Poker provides players with the option to select a personal avatar to represent them at the table. If you prefer not to see these avatars while you play, you may disable them by clicking on the Avatars option in the Options pull-down menu in the main lobby. You may also turn avatars on and off while seated at a table by checking the Avatars box in the Options tab at the top right of the screen.
- Chat Filters – Full Tilt Poker offers a variety of Chat options to make your game more enjoyable. Their default setting will let you see Dealer announcements for each hand, as well as chat from your fellow players and observers. You may filter your chat settings by clicking the Options tab at the top right of the table.
Poker Games
- Texas Hold’em - or just Hold ‘em, as most players know it, is probably the best known and most popular form of poker today. The game is commonly played at a six or nine handed table, but tables can have fewer seats.
- Omaha Hi – is a form of hold ‘em. The game is commonly played at a six or nine handed table. The betting and blinds are exactly the same as hold ‘em.
- Omaha Hi/Lo - is a variant of Omaha Hi. The game is also often called Omaha 8 and is commonly played at a six or nine handed table. The betting and blinds are exactly the same as in Omaha.
- Razz – If you wish you could cash in on your “bad” hands, Razz may be the game for you. Part low-ball, part Stud Hi, the goal is to make the best five-card low hand from the seven cards you are dealt. It is played with anywhere from 2 to 8 players.
- Stud Hi – is a game that most home game players know. The game is played at an eight-handed table and involves five rounds of betting.
- Stud Hi/Lo – is a variant of Stud Hi. The betting, ante, and bring-in are exactly the same as in Stud Hi.
- Mixed Games – let you play a variety of exciting poker games without ever changing tables. Choose from: HORSE (Hold ‘em, Omaha Hi/Lo, Razz, Stud Hi, Stud Hi/Lo), HOSE (Hold ‘em, Omaha Hi/Lo, Stud Hi, Stud Hi/Lo) HA (Hold ‘em, Omaha Hi). Mixed Games keep you entertained and engaged in the action, as the games change every 10 hands. Look for these fun-filled games under the Mixed Games tab.
